FES – file exchange system

File Exchange System is a convenient tool for effective system integration in heterogeneous IT environments. In institutions with rich, multiple years old IT infrastructures, system integration is a complex and nontrivial task. The variety of systems, each based on various technological standards that are very often already beyond IT mainstream, makes the formats and data exchange machanisms complex.

File Exchange System is a convenient tool for full automation of data exchange in complex IT environments. It operates in both local and wide area networks on heterogeneous hardware and software platforms.

Functionality:

n
The role of FES is to fully automate exchange of files between servers operating in both LAN and WAN networks. The system allows secure integration of diverse platforms, eliminating the risk of errors and generating detailed operation logs. The system enables, in particular:
  • Detailed file transfer planning including operation time and date
  • Defining the number of repetitions in case of failure
  • Generating rich operation logs
  • Printing of transferred files
  • Archiving of transferred files
  • Central management

Supported protocols:

File Exchange System supports, among others, the following protocols:

  • FTP
  • SFTP
  • SCP
  • FTP via SSL

System architecture provides easy system extension with new protocols as needed.
